Book Club for the Curious

Founded by the Museum of Science, the Book Club for the Curious features books that explore the impact of science and technology on our society. Previous reads include Hacking Darwin by Jamie Metzl and Something Deeply Hidden by Sean Carroll. These profoundly engaging discussions bring together a wealth of perspectives at each meeting. The club meets virtually on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM.

Beyond the Page: A GBH Book Club

Presented by GBH, the local public media network, Beyond the Page picks a new fascinating read each month. There is a supportive online community that keeps you on track and provides thought-provoking discussion questions while you read. Recent picks include Fast Girls by Elise Hooper and What We Carry by Maya Shanbhag Lang. The club finishes each novel with an online monthly meeting featuring the book's author and a GBH personality.

Harvard Book Store

Featuring celebrated authors discussing their latest works, Harvard Book Store's Virtual Event series is an award-winning program that will excite any bibliophile. The new online format means that celebrity experts can join the conversation, so each event is sure to inspire and inform. Previous pairings include Erik Lawson and Nathaniel Philbrick discussing Lawson's The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz.
